Posted April 20, 2019. Big difference between the KLX140 and KLX250 is seat height (KLX140 is aimed at smaller people). You are 6'2" which in my opinion would make the KLX140 too small for you to be comfortable on. I am a bit older (61) and I just bought a new old stock 2018 last month. I am loving this motorcycle. So the stock tire size front for the 2021 KLX300 is 3.00-21 and the rear is 4.6-18, with that in mind I think I was able to work out that a front tire of 80/100-21 will work fine. But finding something in the 4.6 range has been a challenge. A 120/90-18 should work for the rear but cant get any tire that size that I want as that's mostly street 1. Kawasaki has reduced the seat height of the KLX230R by 0.8 inches. The 2021 KLX230R S has a seat height of 35.4 inches, making it accessible to a broader range of riders. 2. The ergonomics on The 300 is a little to expensive and the xt250 is good and would be around 5,500 after dealer additions whole the Kawasaki 230 is around 5,200 after dealer additions. I like both the 230 and the xt, but all and all I think the 230 would be the better bike because of the seat hight. Find the best deals today! The KLX is heavier and feels heavy for people under 5’10. People of shorter stature will appreciate the CRF250F’s lower seat hight and lower weight. The KLX is equipped with way better suspension but it also needs a few things to be (IMHO) dialed in. It needs exhaust and fuel programmer because the bike is severely choked down from the factory. 2buvT.
